It helps maintain product integrity during fluid transfer in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. Loss of fluid through migration into the tubing or adherence of fluid onto the tubing walls may create inconsistencies in final product results. It is hydrophobic and resists the sorption (absorption/adsorption) of aqueous fluids. This reduction in sorption minimizes the risk of fluid alteration in single or repeat-use applications.

It is virtually unaffected by chemical sanitizers and cleaners. As a result, it can be cleaned repeatedly without decreasing its service life. The non-wettable surface of the product facilitates complete drainage of fluid during the cleaning process. In addition, It can be sterilized easily using conventional gamma radiation, gas (ethylene oxide) and autoclave methods.

Until now, clear, flexible tubing was restricted from use in many applications due to concern of plasticizer extraction.  High-Purity Tubing is entirely free of any plasticizers. This unique tubing uses the latest in polymer technology to provide a clear (between braid) and flexible tubing choice for sensitive fluid transfer applications.

Our comprehensive range includes one wire, two wire, multi-spiral and non-conductive hoses that conform to SAE and/or DIN specifications. Typical applications include hydraulics, compressed air, high-pressure cleaning, painting, fuel, water and other general purposes. These hoses are available with pressure ratings of up to 500 bar, and hose diameters range from 6mm to 50mm. (1/4" to 2")
A full range of hose end configurations is available for all applications. They include JIC, SAE, Metric, BSPP, BSPT, NPT, ORFS, SAE flange 3000 and 6000 series, 4 hole flanges, Komatsu and Poclain. The hose ends are available in one-piece and two-piece crimp and re-useable designs.

The range of steel and brass adapters include stud connectors, elbows, tee pieces, reducers, crosses, male, female, JIC, SAE, Metric, BSPP, BSPT, NPT, ORFS, SAE flange 3000 and 6000 series, 4 hole pump flanges, Komatsu and Poclain. Adapter sizes range from 6mm to 42mm in metric and 1/8" to 3" in imperial.

Both hose types are suitable for hot water up to + 95° C
and steam up to + 164° C (for open-end discharge only).

The alternatively white or black lining is homogeneous and smooth. Both covers are resistant to abrasion as well as to fats and oils.
